Hawaiian Furikake Chex Mix Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box Rice Chex Family size
  • 1 bag Original Gold Fish
  • 1 bag Butter Snaps Prezels
  • 1 bag Garlic Rye Chips
  • 1 bag Orginal Bugles
  • 1 bag Pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup butter unsalted
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp Korean Red Pepper Powder optional
  • 2 bottle Nori Komi Furikake

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 250F, line to large, rimmed baking sheets with foil
  • Combine all dry ingredients directly in the prepared baking sheets
  • In the small saucepan over medium heat, add butter, honey, sugar, coconut oil, soy sauce, red pepper powder. Stir constantly until the mixture is smooth and everything is fully dissolved.
  • Remove the glaze from the heat. Pour the warm mixture evenly over the two baking sheets.
  • Bake for 1 hours, tossing and turning the mix every 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  • When it's done, remove from the oven and allow to cool it down completely before move them to the container. It will get crunchier as it cools
