- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp red food coloring
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Whisk flour, baking soda, cocoa powder, and salt in a bowl
In a bowl, beat butter, sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy
In a bowl, add egg, food coloring, and vanilla; mix until smooth
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, mix just until combined. Fold in white chocolate chips.
Drop 1.5 tbsp dough balls onto the sheets, 2" apart. Bake for 12 minutes
Let rest for 5 minutes then transfer to rack
