Vietnamese Chicken Salad Recipe (Goi Ga)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 green cabbage shredded
  • 6 pcs chicken drumsticks cooked and shredded
  • 3 limes
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 white onion thin sliced
  • 1 cup fried onion
  • 2 Thai Chilies
  • 2 tbsp garlic finely minched
  • 1 bunch coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 4 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 cup peanuts chopped

Instructions
 

  • Put shredded cabbages in the large bowl. Fill them up with water. Add in 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp of sugar, and 1 tbsp vinegar. Combine and set aside.
  • Add the white onion in the small bowl fill with water. Continue to add 1 tbsp of salt, 1 tbsp of vinegar, 1 tbsp of sugar. Combine and set aside.
  • Put cabbage and white onion insde the drainer. Do not rinse out with water. Set aside.
  • To make fish sauce. In the small bowl, add in fish sauce, 4 tbsp of sugar, 3 tbsp of lime juice, minced garlic, and chopped thai chilies. Combine all ingredients. Adjust it by your taste.
  • Put cabbage and onion in the large serving bowl. Then continue to add shredded chicken, coriander leaves, fried onion, and chopped peanuts.
  • Continue with fish sauce. Use your cooking gloves and combine all well together.
