Vietnamese Chicken Salad Recipe (Goi Ga)

- 1 green cabbage shredded
- 6 pcs chicken drumsticks cooked and shredded
- 3 limes
- 6 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp white vinegar
- 2 tbsp salt
- 1 white onion thin sliced
- 1 cup fried onion
- 2 Thai Chilies
- 2 tbsp garlic finely minched
- 1 bunch coriander leaves finely chopped
- 4 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 cup peanuts chopped
Put shredded cabbages in the large bowl. Fill them up with water. Add in 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp of sugar, and 1 tbsp vinegar. Combine and set aside.
Add the white onion in the small bowl fill with water. Continue to add 1 tbsp of salt, 1 tbsp of vinegar, 1 tbsp of sugar. Combine and set aside.
Put cabbage and white onion insde the drainer. Do not rinse out with water. Set aside.
To make fish sauce. In the small bowl, add in fish sauce, 4 tbsp of sugar, 3 tbsp of lime juice, minced garlic, and chopped thai chilies. Combine all ingredients. Adjust it by your taste.
Put cabbage and onion in the large serving bowl. Then continue to add shredded chicken, coriander leaves, fried onion, and chopped peanuts.
Continue with fish sauce. Use your cooking gloves and combine all well together.
